Overview
This article provides information and instructions to set Organization-Wide Notifications in Postwire; this is helpful in cases where an administrator wants to customize these notifications, or when they want to control who receives them.
Information
By default, Postwire automatically sends two types of notifications to everyone by email:
- The Postwire Daily Digest
- Comment Notifications
The Postwire administrator can control whether if the system sends these notifications or not, and to whom should they be sent. For example, an organization may want their employees (named "People" in the Postwire Organization) to be automatically notified of content updates via the Postwire Daily Digest, but they do not want the Postwire Daly Digest sent externally to their prospects and clients because they have explicitly asked them to minimize all email communications.
Process
Warning: These settings have a global impact. All Postwires created by anyone in the organization will be subject to these settings, which are established by the administrator.
-
Log in to Postwire as administrator.
-
In the gear icon on the top-right corner, select Postwire, Inc. Organization.
-
In the left-hand menu, under Organization, click on Notifications. The Organization-Wide Notification page is displayed.
-
Select your desired options and configure the settings as you see fit. Click Save Changes when you are done.
