There are several maps to choose from in Sococo's platform. As the app is updated, more floor layouts and team capacities are constantly being added. Sococo floor plans have maps ideal for small executive teams, as well as maps supporting the co-location of twelve teams in an Agile Release Train. There are a variety of floor plan options an administrator or space moderator can choose from.
This article will provide information about the different types of maps and floor plans an organization administrator or space moderator can select for the Sococo office.
Sococo mostly has open floor plans for its maps and layouts. Pick a map and a floor plan that best suits the way your team(s) or organization works. Keep in mind that it is easy to change maps at any point. The only feat when you switch between maps and layouts is that you will have to relabel room names on the new map.
In an open floor plan, the shared team areas are not private; they have no doors (so anyone can drop in) and everyone in the shared area can hear what’s going on and sense the comings and goings of each other via sound notifications. Of course, you can always toggle off your headset and mute the notifications via your personal settings.
Most teams enjoy working in shared areas and establish their own work etiquette. If you are talking to one or two other members of the team, you should move to a breakout room. The only time the shared space is used for a conversation is if the whole team is collaborating together.
Depending on the environment and team size that matches your organization's needs, you can choose from the available options. The floor plans below represent each team size. A wide variety of layouts are available if you Modify the Space Details From the Space Settings Tool.
