Overview
Sococo, the virtual office supports flexible and agile work environments. While it allows portability for smartphones, Android, and iOS devices. Sococo web app is currently only supported in Chrome running on a Windows, Mac, or Linux desktop or laptop computer. If you do not want the web app, Sococco is also available for installation as a Desktop Client. For more information, read the article on Downloading and Installing Sococo Desktop App.
Since Sococo only works with Chrome in almost any operating system, running it from another browser will affect some features and functionality. Usually, if a browser is not supported, it will return an error message if the Sococo web app is launched from a non-Chrome browser.
This article provides more information on the supported browsers that can be used for Sococo and the possible error messages if the browser is not compatible.
Information
For Desktop and Laptop Computers
- If you see the error message shown below, try the following:
- Launch a Chrome browser.
- For web app, go to the Sococo app (or your team's custom URL, if applicable).
- If it is installed in your operating system (Mac, Winodws or Linux), open the Desktop Client and log in.
- Launch a Chrome browser.
Sorry, your browser is not compatible.
Try one of these solutions.
For Smartphones and Other Mobile Devices (Android and iOS Only)
- If you are on a mobile device, please go to the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android devices) to download the Sococo app.
Sococo is not supported in Safari and Chrome browsers on a mobile device.
For Guests Logging in on Computers
- If the guests are attending a meeting using a guest link (the word meet will be in the URL of the Sococo guest link), they need to paste this link to their Chrome browser installed on a Windows, Mac, or Linux desktop or laptop computer.
For Guests Logging in from Any Smartphone
- Guest links are not supported on any mobile devices at this time.
