Overview
Sococo users can be members of more than one space. When this is the case, your avatar is not limited to the space you selected when logging in. You can move your avatar between spaces at any time. This article provides information on how to switch spaces in Sococo.
Prerequisites
- You need to be a member of more than one space.
Solution
There are two ways to select a space:
-
From the Where to, boss? menu presented after logging in. Note: This option is only displayed if you don't have a home room set.
-
From the Change space drop-down menu in the top navbar.
After Logging In
-
After you log in to Sococo, you are asked where to go. The menu presented depends on the number of spaces available to you
-
If you are a member of one to five spaces, you are presented with the following menu that lists the available spaces.
-
When you are a member of more than five spaces, the menu list is organized into two sections: Recent spaces and Other spaces.
-
The Recent spaces section displays your five most recently visited spaces, keeping frequently visited spaces at the top of your view.
-
The Other spaces section lists all other spaces in alphabetical order.
Note: It is often the case that users are members of more than five spaces, especially when they belong to large enterprises that are set up to use SSO for user authentication.
-
-
Select one of the available spaces and click on it. You are then moved to the Lobby of that space.
Changing Spaces From Within a Space
-
Once located in a space, you can quickly go to another space by clicking your current space name in the top navbar to open the Change Space panel.
-
Select a space from the Change space menu presented.
Just like the Where to, boss? menu, the Change space menu is organized into two sections for users who are members of more than five spaces: Recent spaces and Other spaces.
Note: If you don't see the space you want listed, you can use the Find spaces field to locate it.
