Overview

Space Moderator or Administrator can force users to go offline if they forgot to sign off before leaving the office. Their avatar will be removed from the space map. This changes the status of the users from online to offline.

Note: It is not possible to force users to go offline in bulk. If you need to force multiple users offline, you will need to do it one by one. 

Prerequisites

• Moderator or Administrator role

Solution

To force a user to go offline in Sococo, follow the steps below:

1. Find the user from the People pane on the left side of the app.
2. Right-click on the user's name.
3. Click on the Force offline option.
   
   
   • Also, you can do the same from the Sococo map by right-clicking on the avatar and selecting Force offline.
     

Testing

Changes take effect immediately after the administrator or moderator clicks Force offline.

After kicking the user out of the Sococo space, the status of the user will be switched to offline. Then, they will be logged out of the application, and their avatar will not be visible on the space map.
