Sococo can be accessed through a Chrome browser. A native desktop client is also available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. There are no functional differences between the Sococo Desktop App and the browser version. Many users prefer to download the Sococo Desktop App for daily use, rather than working out of a browser window.

System Requirements for Sococo Desktop
To ensure optimal user experience for Sococo, it is made compatible with three operating systems: Mac OS, Windows, and Linux. For more information on these installation requirements, read Sococo Installation Requirements.
Click the menu to expand the Options pane.
From the menu, select Download Desktop App.
- Select the appropriate native client to download for your operating system.
- Then, click on the downloaded file to launch the installation process. (File format and extension differs for each operating system)
Chrome is the recommended browser for Sococo.
Once the Sococo Desktop App is successfully downloaded you will get a confirmation message: "Sococo Desktop is successfully installed."
A popup box will also prompt you to launch your virtual workplace. If you selected Yes, it will launch Sococo Desktop for the first time.
