Overview
While trying to reset a password, you may receive an email with the subject "Oops! Unable to Reset Password". The email states the following:
You recently tried to reset your Sococo password, but we can't find an
account associated with <email address>. Unfortunately, we can't reset
your password. Double-check the email address you entered and try again.
Solution
The email address used to reset the password is not associated with any Sococo account. To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:
- Check if you are using another email address for Sococo. If you are using another email address, reset the password using the correct one.
- If you are sure the email address you used is correct, ask your colleagues to invite you to space first.
You were already invited?
If you were already invited, and you received the invitation email, make sure you clicked on the correct button on the email. There are two buttons, one to Join the team, and one to Log in at the bottom of the email. Make sure you click on the Join now button to create the account.
A new window opens, where you need to do the following:
- Enter your new password
- Agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Click Create Account
Testing
Using your new credentials you will be able to log in to Sococo. If you are still having issues accessing the space, please follow up on a support ticket explaining the problem in detail.
