Whenever you need to update the email address for your user account in Sococo, you need to follow a specific process as Sococo does not offer an option to update your email. This article explains the process to follow and possible restrictions on the process.
As Sococo does not allow you to update the email address for your account, you can add a new user with your new email address and remove your old (current) user. However, there are several possible restrictions on this process:
If your Sococo Organization already has all the seats taken, you cannot invite new members without increasing the number of seats. Someone (an Administrator or Moderator) needs to delete your user first, and then invite the new user with your new email address.
If you are the only Administrator, you can temporarily promote a coworker to be an Administrator, and have them complete this task for you. If this is not an option, you can always contact Support for assistance in this matter.
