When the Webex integration is enabled, you can create a meeting in Webex from your Sococo room, and other users can join by entering the room. This article will provide steps on how you can create your Webex meeting from Sococo.
To start a meeting on Webex, follow the steps below:
Click the Talk button (for Webex Meeting) at the top-right part of the screen.
If you are starting a Webex meeting from Sococo for the first time, you need to authorize the integration.
You will be asked to log into your Webex account.
Once you are logged in, you need to Authorize the Sococo app to access your Webex account.
If you do not have the Cisco Spark app installed, you will be prompted to install it.
The Webex meeting starts as it usually would.
You might need to confirm opening a Cisco Spark app in the browser.
The Webex meeting is created.
Any activity in Sococo (after you initiate the Webex meeting) will not close the meeting. You can move your avatar in the Sococo space, or even close the Sococo app, and your Webex meeting will not be affected.
Once the meeting starts, the room you are in will have the Webex meeting icon to the right of the room name, and the Talk and Join buttons are replaced with the End button.
All users that are present in the room (when you start a Webex meeting using the "Talk" button) will get the notification to join the meeting.
