Zoom meeting attendees can get a password prompt requesting for a Zoom meeting password when joining meetings. This password is a Zoom setting that is set up by the host of the Zoom meeting. To disable the prompt that is requesting users to enter a password, follow steps on how to disable password protection on Zoom meetings.
When you are joining a Zoom meeting in Sococo, a prompt appears asking for a password.
Zoom allows users to set individual meeting security policy. When meetings are password-protected, every user needs to enter a password before they are allowed to join the meeting. This kind of security setting can affect Zoom integration with Sococo by creating unintended barriers to meetings.
Disabling the Password Protection Requirement
Users starting the meeting need to share the password or disable password protection in Zoom settings using the process detailed below:
Open your Zoom application and click on the Zoom settings gear icon.
On the Zoom Settings window, Under General, click on View More Settings.
Disable the passcode when starting new meetings settings in Zoom, so the meetings will not require a password. These settings should be disabled as on the image below.
When joining meetings created by a user where the password requirement settings are disabled, users will be able to join the meeting without entering the meeting password.
