Overview
The help Button used to review Articles and contact Support may not work sometimes on the Sococo app. Even if you are clicking on the Help button, it does not do anything.
Diagnosis
After you are logged in to the Sococo app, click on the Help button in the bottom-left corner of the app. If the Help widget does not open, proceed to the Solution section to fix the issue.
Note: There is a HELP button on the Sococo login screen that is reported not to work at all. Our developer teams are informed and working on fixing it. The solution below does not apply to the Login page Help button issue.
Solution
The most probable cause of the help button now working is the Sococo cache. To confirm the cause and resolve the issue, follow the steps below:
1. Confirming if the Help button works on Incognito
It is possible that there are issues on the Help Center causing the Help button not to work at all. To confirm this, do the following:
- Open Sococo web app in a Chrome Incognito mode
- Log in to your Sococo account
- Click on the Help button in the bottom-left corner of the app
If the Help widget does not open, the issue is most likely on the Sococo side. Please follow up on a support ticket explaining the issue in detail.
If the Help widget opens, you have confirmed that you need to clear your cache.
2. Clearing Cache
The Sococo cached files that are causing the issue need to be removed from your system. To do this, follow the steps on how to clear Sococo cache for the version of the app you are using:
Testing
Once the cache is cleared, log in to your Sococo account and click on the Help button. The Help widget should appear. If the widget is still not appearing, please follow up on a support ticket explaining the issue in detail and provide steps you performed so far.
