Sococo can have issues with media sessions not terminating correctly after leaving a room using the Home button. To resolve the issue with the media sessions not terminating after changing rooms, follow the steps below.
Step 1. Verify the Sococo App version.
As previously mentioned, this is a known bug in Sococo 6.20.2 that was fixed in the following release. While running the Sococo app in Chrome will guarantee you are using the latest fixes and improvements, if you use the Sococo desktop app, it is possible you are not using the latest version of Sococo. Check the Sococo desktop app version to verify if this is the case.
Step 2. Update the Sococo desktop app.
If you are not using the latest version, manually update the desktop app to get the latest fixes.
