Overview

Sococo can have issues with capturing shortcuts when used in other applications while the desktop app is minimized. This is a known issue present in the 6.11.0 version of the desktop application that is no longer present in the most recent release. This article provides information on how to fix this issue if you are still experiencing it in the Sococo desktop app.

Solution

To resolve the issue with the Sococo app capturing keyboard shortcuts used in other applications, follow the steps below.

Step 1. Verify the Sococo App version.

This issue was present in the 6.11.0 version of the desktop app. Following releases do not exhibit this behavior.  Check your Sococo desktop app version to verify if an update needs to be made. 

Step 2. Update the Sococo desktop app.

If you are not using the latest version, manually update the desktop app to get the latest fixes. 

Testing

After updating your desktop app to the latest version, Sococo will not capture keyboard shortcuts while minimized. If you are still experiencing the issue, please follow up on a support ticket explaining your issue in detail and all the steps you tried so far.
